SPECTATOR/PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT


 Mt Airy COGIC Parent/Spectator Code of Conduct

***Parents, relatives and spectators are not to leave the stands to intervene in any on-court disputes or confrontations.

***Officials are to be shown respect at all times. Please Accept decisions of officials as being fair and called to the best of their ability.  Refer all concerns to the Mt Airy Basketball Director

***Parents and guests will not engage in any kind of unsportsmanlike conduct with any official, coach, player, or others such as booing, taunting, or using abusive or profane language or gestures.

***No disrespect or taunting of opposing team supporters is allowed.

***Set a good example and teach our youth to treat all players, coaches, fans, and officials with respect and to be gracious in victory and dignified in defeat.

*** BE ON TIME. It is very important to contact the coach if your child will be late or absent.

***No coaching from the sidelines when it is in opposition to what the coach of the team is coaching.

 

Anyone who fails to abide by these rules and guidelines is subject to disciplinary action which may include: verbal warning, technical foul against your team, ejection from the game or expulsion from the league.
